Applications

Paints and coatings:
It is most active top drier used as a drying agent with oil paints. Depending on the solids content, the recommended amount of use is between 1% - 2%. It is used with lead. It is also used in conjunction with MANGANESE, Zirconium and Calcium to improve surface drying, to provide environmentally friendly systems.

Unsaturated Polyester Resin:
To speed up the radical formations, which is necessary to start the polymerization reaction at ambient temperatures with most generally applied ketone peroxides such as Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide, Cyclohexanone Peroxide, Acetyl Acetone Peroxide and at elevated temperatures with peresters such as Tertiary Butyl Peroxy Benzoate and as Tertiary Butyl Peroxy 2-ethylhexanoate.

Printing Inks:
Rapid stacking of printing matter demands extremely fast drying

Rubber:
as an adhesive from rubber to metal
